Will my website look like a template?

 

While it is true that Squarespace has a tightly curated library of templates to work with, the templates are there to act as a jumping-off point. Together, we will be aiming to create a website that is distinctly and beautifully branded, but maintains a familiar user experience. Each plan has a specific budget for custom UX/UI Design to ensure your website feels completely your own.

 

What if I need services outside of my plan?

 

As a subset of Brave People, a full-service digital agency, Brave — SB was created to serve small businesses and brands in their specific stages of digital growth. We've found that the most immediately effective way to do this is by delivering simple yet engaging content-driven websites. That said, if you have additional requirements that aren't included in our plans, we've included a list of available add-ons to each plan such as photography, videography, brand strategy, identity design, and copywriting. 

 

How long will my project last?

Depending on the plan you select and varying add-on deliverables, our typical Brave — SB engagements last anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks. Efficiency is the name of the game so the more attentive you are to the project, the faster we can respond with solutions.

 

What's your process once we get started?

 

Glad you asked. We typically break it down into 3 steps or weeks depending on the agreed upon project deliverables and timeline:

Can I track metrics?

It’s easy to add Google Analytics tracking to your client’s website. Also the Squarespace Metrics App lets you use any mobile device to access page views, visitor statistics, and track social media.

 

Can I preserve my SEO?

If you already have strong search rankings for key pages or blog posts that you'd like to preserve, switching platforms may cause a temporary dip in established search ranking, but with Squarespace that dip can be significantly reduced.

  • First, importing blog content, which is often a major contributor to SEO rankings, is a one-step process.
     
  • Second, it’s easy to customize URLs so inbound links will continue to work.
     
  • Third, redirects of pages that do not get migrated over are simple to implement and will preserve the SEO value of those pages. Read more about importing content and SEO on Squarespace here.
 

How will I be billed?

 

Unless otherwise specified, all plans will be billed in either two 50% or three 33% payments/milestones. You can pay by check or online via our invoices (ACH).
